Tangerine Tiger x Crystal

Yesterday was horrid but got a ton of stuff done and now onto new, bigger and better things. Whats most important to me is the customer and keeping the hobby alive.

I wasn't going to report this until I could see if the patterns and colorations could be stabalized and the blacks thickened. A friend of mine whom did not have enough space to put shrimp but loved the tangerine tigers decided to put it with his crystals. Lucky for him he had an unexpected crossing and he brought over and gave me this:
Wayne Lam's F1

Here are a few pictures of SS grade crystal x tangerine tiger enjoy =)

A crossing from my own projects.
Some of the white peering through but not what i'm looking for.
One of the younger hybrids
There are F1's and F2's in this tank. What I want to try to do is setup another series of crossings: F1 x F1 , F1 x CRS SS. F1 x tangerine. Hopefully that would tell me a bit more about the genetics and which traits are dominant and which recessive so I can see which traits can be manipulated.
What I've also noticed is when tangerine x CRS SS, it gives off a hybrid with tangerine colors but the markings of a crystal. What I am wanting to do and am trying out is CRS S grade x tangerine tiger whether it would produce a hybrid with S grade patterns. If the patterns can be stabalized and thickened a new line of shrimps can be bred from the crossings but re-selectively bred.

Here's a preview of another crossing I am working on enjoy!

I'm utterly shocked at what had just happened.... but before I make any remarks I'm just going to let today pass and hope what I saw isn't true. If it is, I've totally lost all respect for them and it is things like these which have caused alot of people to lose their passion for the hobby and their will to be nice and charitable.

Full Blue Rili is something real and not fake

It has come to my attention that there are people other parts of the world which have taken my picture of my full blue rili and labelled it as fake and photo edited. I'm pretty sure this is fairly accurate but you can change a raw file to a JPEG but you can't change a JPEG to a raw file with the same capabilities as you would have with a normal raw file. Heres proof of how much I actually "edited". Not much was done other than having the picture sharpened for a crisper look. I'm sorry, but I do not possess the skills to alter a picture from red to blue.

Whats been happening? Where has Ebiken been?

First off, I'd like to congratulate a good buddy of mine (Stephan) whose gone to the Philippines to finally settle in and get married =P (Special note/ piece of advice to him: BETTER HURRY UP AND SETUP A NEW RACK SYSTEM BEFORE YOUR WIFE COMES BACK AS WELL!) For the past month I've been very VERY busy packing and shipping out before and during the holidays. Below are some shots that I've remembered to take with the little time that I had.....

The 6 labelled boxes being shipped to USA. over 3000 shrimp.... This will be interesting....
2 of the boxes will be shipped to Seattle and the other 4 will be to San Francisco via Air Canada.
The preparation of shipping the CPO's......
Completed box number 1. With CPO's lined in columns of 9 on the top of the picture. I was told by the consignee that a forklift was needed to move this puppy..... lol (my aching back)

Box 2 for Seattle with more CPO but columns of 5. HOW MANY CPO DID THIS AHEM* ORDER!

Wanted to get a shot of the entire shipment at AirCanada but forgot and was too tired.... This was suppose to be shipped near midnight of the 29th but instead shipped on the morning (at 5am) of the 30th with departure time around 9am. Thanks to Charles and Patrick of Canadian Aquatics for being there as well and staying with me until I finished shipping out the order. And thankyou pat for the breakfast from BK =) Your like the mother I never had =P

In the last few days I've had to ship another 4 end user customers and 1 distributor..... lack of sleep, coffee, no sleep, coffee..... below are a few of the packages.

Whats that cut void in the styrofoam for?.....
WOOHOO score! perfect fit for a heat pack!
AHHH the finished product to Quebec =)
Another one to Quebec. This ones getting serious.... DOUBLE HEAT PACKS! 72 hour and 40 hour! Why is the styrofoam positioned like that?
Because it was shipped as a double decker =) help my customer save some money =P
This ones EVEN MORE SERIOUS! shipped to AquaInspiration. 800 shrimps They coulda fit more.... This box size was intended for 1000 shrimps but anywho.... This puppy weighted a staggering 23 Kilos! Thats some serious shrimp weights! (I hear a few more cracks in my back.....)
So after all this fiasco what is Ebiken up to.....
A 36x18x7 inch tank
We will soon find out =)

I've been getting complaints from distributors in the States that have had their company linked to The Shrimp Lab. Ebi-ken Studio and Ebiken Wholesaling is a company that recently had their name changed and registered in Canada. The previous company name it was under was Jiang Exports and Frank Jiang. The company name switch was effective as of November-22-2011. The Shrimp Labs owner is Nicole Le of California. Shrimplab's product line was developed by Jiang Exports (Frank Jiang). Shrimps are part of Ebiken Wholesaling sector of the company and NOT shrimplab. Shrimplab gets most of their stock FROM Ebiken Wholesaling but not all. So to wrap things up. Shrimplab isn't a supplier of shrimps Ebiken Wholesaling is the company that supplies shrimps. Prices to which distributors / retailers wish to sell at is up to them. One last thing is Shrimplab product line and Ebiken product line are 2 different lines none of the products are the same in composition.
